Op-amps and comparators

DC-458 Comparator Module
I cannot remember what exactly I took this module from, possibly a VCR or power supply, but either way it's a handy module. I've worked out the circuit myself, which you can find below, which I've done my best to make sure it's accurate but there are possibly mistakes.
It's a simple circuit that uses a LM393 dual comparator IC (only one of the comparators has been used) with a transistor output stage. I've included a test circuit that lights an LED when the LDR is in darkness.

Originally the module was soldered to the main board but you could use a connector or replace the pins with wires.
