Electronic kits are a great way to get to know simple circuits without the need to do any soldering. All these kits are made by me and if you need a kit made slightly different (for e.g., to run off different batteries), I can custom make it for you.

10 LED Light Chaser

With this kit you can light up your life as the 10 LED lights turn on and off in sequence at an adjustable speed. No soldering is needed but you will need a 9V (PP3) battery and a small flat screwdriver.

What you get:

* The circuit as soldered by me.

* A 555 Timer IC

* 10 LEDs (you choose what colours you would like)

LED 7-segment Display Kit

This kit teaches you how numbers and other characters can be displayed by lighting combinations of segments on a display. There is no soldering required, just operate the switches is all you need to do. Have fun and learn how this popular form of display works.

Generate Your Own Electricity Kit

No need for batteries using this kit because you will be making the electricity yourself. Soldering is not needed at all, just plug in the stepper motor and the meter and give your hand a workout as you make your own electricity.

This kit is a perfect introduction to how electricity can be generated, and the role of a bridge rectifier and capacitor.

What you get (as standard):

* The main circuit as soldered by me.

* One stepper motor.

* One meter.

There is the option for an LED output instead of the meter or, if in addition to the meter, it costs just 20p extra.

Two LED 555 Light Flasher Kit

This is a great introduction to electronics and timing circuits and requires no soldering at all. Just simply slot in a few components, connect a 9V (PP3) battery (not included), turn on the switch and you can adjust the flash rate using a small flat screwdriver.

Choose which two colours you want the LEDs to be (red, green or yellow), the size (approx. 2mm or 5mm) and the shape (round, square/rectangular). I can also include more LEDs for a little extra or you can buy more from me in the future.

What you get (as standard):

* The main 555 Timer Light Flasher circuit soldered by me.

* One 555 Timer IC (microchip).

* Two LEDs.
