Summary
First problem is that west believes that social science should use the methodology of physical science. Second point was that physical science is regarded as positivism and social science as normative. Reason behind that why did west want to copy physical science methodology is that there was battle between religious and science in the west. Science won in this battle and therefore science became the source of knowledge. In 1925-1930 it was widely accepted that social science should use the methodology of physical science to study human being. This led to different problems including prediction, observation and description, quantification in the use of mathematics. According to economists wealth of nation exists in agriculture, industries, oil reserves, foreign exchange reserves etc. problem of economic theory is that it does not focus on important things. Another problem is ignoring history and ignoring culture. Islamic methodology is based upon changing world for goods. Two main ideas followed by west as alternative of religion are utilitarianism and democracy/majority. As the result of utilitarianism things were considered good which were bad and considered bad which were good. Democracy is not a good way to determine morality because if majority says it is good then it will be implacable to all society.
