No Show Policy
Excerpted from the TKSMC Golf Handbook:
A “No Show” is defined as any member who fails to show up for a designated tee time without prior cancellation. Final tee sheets are sent to the pro shop on Monday evenings. If one needs to cancel after that, you must call the pro shop and notify one of the MoMs.
Any member who is a NO SHOW for any Team Event will not be eligible for the next Team Event. This includes Memorials and President Cup events.
Any suspension not served in the current year will be carried over into the next golf season.
The Manager of the month is responsible for reporting all NO SHOWS to the Golf Committee Chairman and the Handicap Chairman.
The Manager of Tournaments will advise any member who has been suspended that they are not eligible to play in the next Major Tournament or Team Event.
The Manager of Tournaments will advise the appropriate Event Manager or Managers of the Month of any suspended players.
The Event Manager for all team Tournaments will ensure that the suspended player is not entered in the next Major Tournament.
Members may petition Golf Committee Chairman if they are in disagreement with any suspension.
