White Tee/Green Tee Policy
White and Green Tees Policy
If member's age plus handicap from the white tees is less than 95, he must play from the white tees.
A member has the option to play from the green tees if member's age plus his handicap from the white tees is at least 95 and less than 110.
If a member's age plus his handicap from the white tees is 110 or higher, they must play from the green tees.
New members are automatically assigned to the white tees.
A member requesting a change in his default tee assignment must contact the handicap chairman. Reasons for requesting change include:
aging in to the optional window,
a lowering or increasing of the handicap from the white tees that places him in a different category
The above policy applies to TKSMC events involving prize money. If there isn't a fee or if a player opts out of participating in a monied event, he can play from any tee box.
As a reminder:
When entering your score into the GHIN system, check to make sure you post using the correct tees (slope/rating) you played from that day.
