The purpose of this site is provide information to homeowners, residents, builders, and others associated with the Harvest Park development in Mapleton, Utah.
This web sites contains information on events and announcements, as well as contact information for the current board members. It also has some of the key documents (such as the CC&Rs) which more formally define the roles and responsibilities of the HOA, as well as the rules which apply in Harvest Park. The newsletters section contains periodic updates on the development. The architectural review process page highlights the steps necessary to obtain approval to either build a home on a lot, or to make any modifications to your existing home or lot (such as major landscaping changes or addition of fences).
Living in a neighborhood with a Homeowners Association (HOA) is somewhat different than living in a typical neighborhood. But those differences are primarily intended to make living in the neighborhood a uniquely positive experience for all. In Harvest Park the primary goals of the HOA include:
Providing for the maintenance and insurance of common areas and facilities such as parks and trails once they have been installed by the developers
Provide for the enforcement of rules and guidelines to maintain the appearance of the neighborhood as a whole
Ensure that the design and construction of homes in the development is consistent with the overall vision of the development
For homes in the Silverleaf and Crescent sections (the PUD lots):
Provide for exterior landscape maintenance and limited snow removal
Provide water service (interior and outside in most homes, just outside in some areas)
Provide structural insurance coverage for the homes (homeowners or tenants will still need supplemental coverage)
Provide a forum and organization that enables residents and owners to contribute to events and activities in the neighborhood
If you have questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to contact the board members (see the contact page).
