On May 1, we released approximately 165 salmon fry to the west branch of the Farmington River at People's State Forest. We were glad that so many fish survived after battling mold in the tank all winter. Provided below are some photos of salmon fry before release and some residual mold in the tank after we drained it. Due to privacy issues, we cannot post pictures of our students releasing the salmon.

Almost ready to go! Note the tiny remaining sac. The fry must be released now that their food supply (sac) is almost gone.
