January 20, 2014 - Two more!

Two more alevin are in the process of hatching! When I opened the lid this afternoon to check on them they were wiggling around! You can see two fish poking out of the membrane. The alevin shown in the photo of January 19 is still visible in the upper right hand corner of this photo, just above the rock. It looks like it hasn't made any progress since yesterday. Tomorrow I will let the kids have a quick look to see if anything new has developed.
