February 8 - A Sac Fry Party!

Today our cumulative developmental index is 62% and the salmon are hatching very fast! The more mature sac fry are wiggling their tails and moving around the bottom of the tank. The youngsters are resting, nestled next to each other. The two oldest sac fry are in the smaller holding tank shown in the left image below. Let's hope the storm does not affect the power so that our water temperature remains constant. Click on the images for an enlarged view.
