Our cumulative developmental index is about 74% today. The alevin are swimming freely on the bottom of the tank although they cluster together as much as possible. Occasionally, a single fish breaks from the group and takes a few laps around the tank. The structures are becoming more obvious with fins and some markings evident. The bodies are not as translucent as before. The fry anomaly is still living and its tail is slightly more detached from the sac than before.

Our first fry is the most developed of the bunch.

Our first fry with the fry anomaly. It is uncertain if the

deformity is due to injury in the egg stage or a

genetic mutation.

Movement is evident despite the problems with formation.

Free swimming!
