Today our Cumulative Developmental Index is 58% and we are three months away from releasing our salmon. Many of our salmon have hatched and are swimming around the tank.

The past few weeks have had some interesting developments. A suspicious white material, likely a fungus, has shown up in the tank and is probably responsible for the loss of some of our eggs. Ten eggs have died in the past 6 weeks and we will continue to watch the tank for any further egg losses.Yesterday we saw something out of the ordinary...a two-headed fry! The little guy has poked its head(s) out of the membrane but the body remains inside the egg. We will watch it to see if it survives for release.
