Property Maintenance Reminder from Your Village Office

When was the last time you stood back and took a really good look at the exterior your home and landscaping? If you were a potential buyer, would you find your home in good condition and well-maintained? Does your property negatively impact the look of the overall community? We ask that each property owner take a critical look at their own home heading into spring to determine if property maintenance is needed and create a plan for getting the work done. Do you need to budget for repairs? Can this work be done as part of an end-of-winter cleanup? Do you have to wait for warmer weather? As always, if the work that is needed requires a change to the exterior of your home, an exterior alteration application may need to be submitted.
