During Crime Prevention Month, consider taking the following steps to help prevent becoming a victim of crime:
Keep your home well-lighted.
Always lock doors and windows.
Consider installing an alarm system. If you have an alarm system, use it. Post warning signs or window decals on your property.
Never leave valuables in plain sight.
If you have garage window, keep it covered.
Keep your bushes and lawn neatly trimmed, especially around the entrances to your home.
Don’t leave your car unattended and running.
Never open doors to strangers.
Always report suspicious people and circumstances to police by calling 911 immediately.
Please contact the Community Resource Office for any of the above issues or to schedule a neighborhood or HOA meeting.
