Childcare

Childminding at Les Happy Frogs can be from 6:50 till late but
because of the success of my French Tuition I can't offer you full time childcare but should you need emergency childcare for interviews or meetings where you can't take your children with you I can help you between 2 French tuition

Your child will be able to take part in local activities such as playgroups, toy library, gym sessions, Cubs or Rainbows and go to outings. We offer a French Breakfast for those we arrive before 7:40, and school age children can be dropped off to St Roberts RC Primary School. After school a small snack is served, (le goûté) tartine, chocolat chaud, then we play or teach French for those who want French Tuition.

Les Happy Frogs can look after your child even when your school closes at short notice (snow...) or teacher training days and don't stop during "Les Vacances".

The Legal bit: The Childcare Register has 2 parts:

The compulsory part

Providers must register on this part if they care for one or more children following their fifth birthday until they reach their eighth birthday for a period or total periods of more than 2 hours in any one day unless registration is not required.

The voluntary part

Providers care for children for 2 or more hours in any one day or for a period of less than 2 hours where this includes care attached to a normal school day (care immediately before or after normal school hours). These providers mainly care for children before and after the school day or in school holidays, or provide care in the child’s home (nannies).

I have chosen to no longer be registered with Ofsted. Therefore I look after school age children before and after school and during the holidays. I have a DBS check and I am on the DBS Update Service (for up-to-date checks) .
