Description
MY PUPPET, MY STORYTELLING PARTNER
A hands-on (and hands-in!) exploration of glove puppets, finger puppets and home-made cut-outs – and how they can make your stories come to life and offer you a variety of relationships with your audience. To see me telling with a puppet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBGDiHzOI_g
STORYTELLING AS A TEACHING STRATEGY FOR SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNERS
I'll share three ways to get second language learners participating in a story; re-telling a story, and co-creating a story with you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBGDiHzOI_gand in the process you'll hear a couple of great stories too. I've been doing a lot of work in Hong Kong where I've been working with secondary students (http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/cityguide/2009-06/11/content_8272254.htm) training kindergarten teachers.
