I have to supervise the Calculation test that serves as the entrance test for the Communication study. While I look around and observe the new students, I think about the test they have to take, a math test. It doesn’t seem so difficult to me, but yes I have had years of high school math and these are fresh, just finished high school students without math in their package.
I look around again and think about what they can do with this study after the study and then have to think of the gurus. Many gurus talk about doing what I enjoyed as a child.
Being in the garden, working out (swimming, tennis and hiking) and I can also remember that I enjoyed writing. I try to solve a few of those math tests in the exam. And look around again and see a few sighing. As easy as I find it, it is apparently not for them.
I mused further what would a guru advise me to do for a job if I told them that the garden interested me, sports and writing? Can a combination be made with those three? These prospective students are going to study communication, would language be their favorite subject? What did they enjoy doing as a child?
