2. Come! all ye, and learn the secret that hath not yet been revealed. I, Hadit, am the complement of Nu, my bride. I am not extended, and Khabs is the name of my House.

5. Siehe! die Rituale der alten Zeit sind schwarz. Die schlechten sollen verworfen werden; die guten sollen vom Propheten gereinigt werden! Dann wird dieses Wissen richtig werden.

5. Смотрите! Ритуалы старого времени черны. Пусть вредные будут отброшены; пусть полезные будут очищены пророком! После того уже это Знание вступит в права.

5. Spójrzcie! rytuały starych czasów są czarne. Niechaj złe zostaną odrzucone; dobre niechaj będą oczyszczone przez proroka! Wówczas Wiedza ta stanie się właściwą.

6. I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life, yet therefore is the knowledge of me the knowledge of death.

6. Ich bin die Flamme, die in jedem Menschenherzen brennt und in dem Kern jedes Sterns. Ich bin Leben und Lebensgeber, doch deshalb ist das Wissen um mich das Wissen vom Tod.

7. I am the Magician and the Exorcist. I am the axle of the wheel, and the cube in the circle. "Come unto me" is a foolish word: for it is I that go.

10. O prophet! thou hast ill will to learn this writing.

11. I see thee hate the hand & the pen; but I am stronger.

11. Ich sehe dich die Hand & die Feder hassen; doch ich bin stärker.

11. Я вижу, ты ненавидишь руку и перо; но я сильнее.

11. Widzę iż nienawidzisz dłoni i pióra; lecz jestem silniejszy.

12. Because of me in Thee which thou knewest not.

12. Wegen mir in Dir, den du nicht kanntest.

12. Ибо я в Тебе, которого ты не знаешь.

12. Gdyż jestem w Tobie o czym nie wiesz.

13. for why? Because thou wast the knower, and me.

13. dlaczego? Ponieważ byłeś wiedzącym i mną.

14. Now let there be a veiling of this shrine: now let the light devour men and eat them up with blindness!

14. Nun laßt diesen Schrein verhüllt sein; nun soll das Licht die Menschen verschlingen und sie mit Blindheit schlagen!

14. Пусть теперь будет покров на этой святыне: пусть теперь свет поглотит людей и пожрёт их слепотой!

14. Niechaj teraz sanktuarium zostanie zakryte: niechaj światło pochłonie ludzi i pożre ich w ślepocie!

15. For I am perfect, being Not; and my number is nine by the fools; but with the just I am eight, and one in eight: Which is vital, for I am none indeed. The Empress and the King are not of me; for there is a further secret.

15. Denn ich bin vollkommen, da ich Nicht bin; und meine Zahl ist neun für die Narren; für die Gerechten aber bin ich acht und eins in acht: Was wichtig ist, denn ich bin wirklich keins. Die Kaiserin und der König gehören nicht zu mir; denn da ist ein weiteres Geheimnis.

16. I am The Empress & the Hierophant. Thus eleven, as my bride is eleven.

16. Ich bin Die Kaiserin & Der Hierophant. Deshalb elf, wie meine Braut elf ist.

18. These are dead, these fellows; they feel not. We are not for the poor and sad: the lords of the earth are our kinsfolk.

18. Sie sind tot, diese Anderen; sie fühlen nicht. Wir sind nicht für die Armen und Betrübten: die Herren der Erde sind unsere Sippe.

19. Is a God to live in a dog? No! but the highest are of us. They shall rejoice, our chosen: who sorroweth is not of us.

19. Soll ein Gott in einem Hunde leben? Nein! nur die Höchsten gehören zu uns. Sie werden jubeln, unsere Erwählten: wer trauert, gehört nicht zu uns.

19. Живёт ли Бог во псе? Нет! Но высшие от нас. Они будут веселиться, избранные наши; тот, кто печалится, не от нас.

19. Czyż miałby Bóg mieszkać w psie? Nie! lecz ci najwyżsi są spośród nas. Oni się będą radować, nasi wybrańcy: nie jest z nas ten kto się smuci.

20. Beauty and strength, leaping laughter and delicious languor, force and fire, are of us. 20. Schönheit und Stärke, perlendes Lachen und köstliches Ermatten, Kraft und Feuer sind unser.

20. Красота и сила, заливистый смех и сладостная истома, мощь и пламя от нас.

20. Piękni i silni, radośnie skaczący i rozkosznie ospali, potężni i pełni żaru, oni są spośród nas.

21. We have nothing with the outcast and the unfit: let them die in their misery. For they feel not. Compassion is the vice of kings: stamp down the wretched & the weak: this ist thelaw of the strong: this is our law and the joy of the world. Think not, o king, upon that lie: That Thou Must Die: verily thou shalt not die, but live. Now let it be understood: If the body of the King dissolve, he shall remain in pure ecstacy for ever. Nuit! Hadit! Ra-Hoor-Khuit! The Sun, Strength & Sight, Light; these are for the servants of the Star & the Snake.

21. Wir haben nichts gemein mit den Ausgestoßenen und den Untauglichen: sie sollen in ihrem Elend sterben. Denn sie fühlen nicht. Mitleid ist das Laster der Könige: tretet nieder die Unglücklichen & die Schwachen: dies ist das Gesetz der Starken: dies ist unser Gesetz und die Freude der Welt. Denke nicht, o König, an diese Lüge: Daß Du Sterben Mußt: wahrhaftig, du wirst nicht sterben, sondern leben. Jetzt soll es verstanden sein: Wenn der Körper des Königs vergeht, wird er für immer in reiner Ekstase bleiben. Nuit! Hadit! Ra-Hoor-Khuit! Die Sonne, Kraft und Sicht, Licht; diese sind für die Diener des Sterns & der Schlange.

21. У нас нет ничего общего с отбросами и неспособными: дайте им умереть в их убожестве. Ибо они не чувствуют. Сострадание - порок царей; попирайте несчастных и слабых - вот закон сильных, вот наш закон и радость мира. Не раздумывай, о царь, над той ложью, Что Ты Должен Умереть; воистину ты не умрёшь, но будешь жить. Пусть теперь станет понятно: если распадётся тело Царя, он во веки пребудет в чистом экстазе. Нуит! Хадит! Ра-Гор-Хуит! Солнце, Сила и Ясность Взора, Свет - это для слуг Звезды и Змея.

21. Nie mamy niczego wspólnego z wyrzutkami i nieprzystosowanymi: niechaj skonają w swej nędzy. Jako że oni nie czują. Litość jest hańbą królów: rozdepczcie marnych i słabych: oto jest prawo silnych: oto jest nasze prawo i radość świata. Nie myśl, o królu, o tym kłamstwie: Że Musisz Umrzeć: zaprawdę nie umrzesz, lecz żyć będziesz. Niechaj teraz to będzie zrozumiane: Jeśli rozpadnie się ciało Króla, pozostanie on w czystej ekstazie na zawsze. Nuit! Hadit! Ra-Hoor-Khuit! Słońce, Siła i Wzrok, Światło; one są dla sług Gwiazdy i Węża.

22. I am the Snake that giveth Knowledge & Delight and bright glory, and stir the hearts of men with drunkenness. To worship me take wine and strange drugs whereof I will tell my prophet, & be drunk thereof! They shall not harm ye at all. It is a lie, this folly against self. The exposure of innocence is a lie. Be strong, o man! lust, enjoy all things of sense and rapture: fear not that any God shall deny thee for this.

22. Ich bin die Schlange, die Wissen & Wonne gibt und strahlenden Glanz, und ich schüre die Herzen der Menschen mit Trunkenheit. Zu meiner Verehrung nehmt Wein und seltene Drogen, wovon ich meinem Propheten erzählen werde, & berauscht euch daran! Sie sollen euch überhaupt kein Leid zufügen. Sie ist eine Lüge, diese Narrheit gegen das Selbst. Die Zurschaustellung der Unschuld ist eine Lüge. Sei stark, o Mensch! genieße und erfreue dich an allen Dingen der Sinne und Wonne: fürchte nicht, daß irgendein Gott dich dafür abweisen wird.

22. Я Змей, дающий Знание и Негу и сияние славы, разжигающий опьянением сердца людей. Чтобы поклоняться мне, возьмите вино и необычные наркотики, о которых я расскажу пророку моему, и захмелейте от них! Они совсем не повредят вам. Лживо было бы делать что-то в ущерб себе. Лживо выставлять невинность напоказ. Будь сильным, о человек! Вожделей, наслаждайся всем, что есть чувство и удовольствие; не бойся, что какой-нибудь Бог отвергнет тебя за это.

22. Jam jest Wężem który daje Wiedzę i Rozkosz, i jasną chwałę, i ożywiam serca człowiecze upojeniem. By czcić mnie, weźcie wino i dziwne narkotyki, o których powiem memu prorokowi; i upoicie się nimi! Nie zaszkodzą wam wcale. Kłamstwem jest to szaleństwo przeciwko sobie. Obnażanie niewinności jest kłamstwem. Bądź silny, o człowieku! pożądaj, raduj się wszystkimi rzeczami zmysłów i uniesienia: nie bój się że jakikolwiek Bóg wyprze się ciebie za to.

23. I am alone: there ist no God where I am.

23. Ich bin allein: da ist kein Gott, wo ich bin.

23. Я один; там, где я, Бога нет.

23. Jestem samotny: nie ma żadnego Boga tam, gdzie Ja jestem.

24. Behold! these be grave mysteries; for there are also of my friends who be hermits. Now think not to find them in the forest or on the mountain; but in beds of purple, caressed by magnificent beasts of women with large limbs, and fire and light in their eyes, and masses of flaming hair about them; there shall ye find them. Ye shall see them at rule, at victorious armies, at all the joy; and there shall be in them a joy a million times greater than this. Beware lest any force another, King against King! Love one another with burning hearts; on the low men trample in the fierce lust of your pride, in the day of your wrath.

24. Siehe! dies sind tiefe Geheimnisse; denn es gibt auch Freunde von mir, die Einsiedler sind. Nun glaube nicht, sie im Wald oder auf dem Berge zu finden; sondern in purpurnen Betten, liebkost von herrlichen Weiberbestien mit kräftigen Gliedern und Feuer und Licht in ihren Augen und Massen flammenden Haares um sich herum; dort werdet ihr sie finden. Ihr werdet sie sehen beim Herrschen, bei siegreichen Armeen, bei allen Freuden: und es wird in ihnen eine Freude sein, eine Millionen mal größer als diese. Hütet euch vor jeder Gewalt gegeneinander; König gegen König! Liebet einander mit brennenden Herzen; trampelt auf den niederen Menschen in der wilden Lust eures Stolzes, am Tag eures Zornes.

24. Смотрите! Сие есть великиетаинства; ибо и среди друзей моих есть отшельники. Даже теперь не думайтенайти их в лесу или на горе, но в постелях из пурпура, ласкаемыхвеликолепными самками с широкими бёдрами, огонь и свет в их глазах и волны пламенных волос вокруг них; вот где найдёте их. Вы увидите их в правлении, в победоносных армиях, во всякой радости; и в них самих будет радость в миллион раз больше той. Остерегайтесь, чтобы не обратить силу друг против друга, Царь против Царя! Любите друг друга с пылающими сердцами; попирайте низших в неистовой страсти гордости вашей, в день гнева вашего.

24. Spójrzcie! oto doniosłe misteria: jako że są również spośród moich przyjaciół tacy, którzy są eremitami. Nie myślcie jednak, że znajdziecie ich pośród lasów czy gór; lecz w łożach z purpury, pośród pieszczot wspaniałych piersi kobiet o smukłych kończynach, z ogniem i blaskiem w oczach, i puklach ognistych włosów; tam ich znajdziecie. Ujrzycie ich u władzy, w zwycięskich armiach, we wszelkiej radości; a będzie w nich radość milion razy większa od tej. Wystrzegajcie się walczyć przeciwko sobie, Król przeciw Królowi! Kochajcie się wzajemnie z płonącymi sercami; depczcie słabych w dzikim wyuzdaniu swej pychy, w dniu swego gniewu.

25. Ye are against the people, O my chosen!

25. Ihr seid gegen das Volk, o meine Auserwählten!

25. Przeciwko ludziom jesteście, O moi wybrańcy.

26. I am the secret Serpent coiled about to spring: in my coiling there is joy. If I

lift up my head, I and my Nuit are one. If I droop down mine head, and shoot

forth venom, then is rapture of the earth, and I and the earth are one.

26. Ich bin die geheime Schlange, zusammengerollt zum Sprung: in meinem Winden ist Freude. Wenn ich mein Haupt erhebe, sind ich und meine Nuit eins. Wenn ich mein Haupt niedersenke und Gift speie, dann ist Verzückung auf Erden, und ich und die Erde sind eins.

26. Я тайный Змей, свернувшийся кольцами, изготовясь к броску: в моем скручивании - радость. Если поднимаю голову свою, я и моя Нуит - одно. Если опускаю голову свою и выплевываю яд, тогда ликование Земли, тогда я и Земля одно.

26. Jam jest tajemnym Wężem zwiniętym do skoku: radość jest w moich splotach. Jeśli podnoszę głowę, Ja i ma Nuit jesteśmy jednym. Jeśli opuszczam głowę i strzelam jadem, wówczas jest zachwyt ziemi, a Ja i ziemia jesteśmy jednym.

27. There is great danger in me; for who doth not understand these runes shall make a great miss. He shall fall down into the pit called Because, and there he shall perish with the dogs of Reason.

27. In mir ist große Gefahr; denn wer diese Runen nicht versteht, wird einen großen Fehler machen. 'Weil' heißt die Grube, in die er niederfallen wird, und dort wird er mit den Hunden der Vernunft umkommen.

27. Во мне огромная опасность, ибо не понявший рун сих совершит огромную ошибку. Он упадёт в яму, называемую "Потому что", и там погибнет от псов Рассудка.

27. Jest we mnie wielkie niebezpieczeństwo; ten kto nie zrozumie tych run pomyli się wielce. Upadnie w otchłań zwaną Ponieważ i rozszarpią go tam psy Rozumu.

30. Если Воля приостанавливается и кричит "Почему?", призывая "Потому что", то Воля останавливается и не совершает ничего.

30. Jeśli Wola wstrzymuje się i woła Dlaczego, przywołując Ponieważ, wówczas Wola ustaje i niczego nie czyni.

31. If Power asks why, then is Power weakness.

32. Also reason is a lie; for there is a factor infinite & unknown; & all their words are skew-wise.

All this and a book to say how thou didst come hither and a reproduction of this ink and paper for ever - for in it is the word secret & not only in the English - and thy comment upon this the Book of the Law shall be printed beautifully in red ink and black upon beautiful paper made by hand; and to each man and woman that thou meetest, were it but to dine or to drink at them, it is the Law to give. 15. Now ye shall know that the chosen priest & apostle of infinite space is the prince-priest the Beast and in his woman called the Scarlet Woman is all power given. They shall gather my children into their fold: they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men.

15. Nun sollt ihr wissen, der erwählte Priester & Apostel des unendlichen Raumes ist der Prinz-Priester, das Tier; und in seiner Frau, die Scharlachrote Frau genannt, ist alle Macht gegeben. 16. For he is ever a sun, and she a moon. But to him is the winged secret flame, and to her the stooping starlight.

22. Now, therefore, I am known to ye by my name Nuit, and to him by a secret name which I will give him when at last he knoweth me. Since I am Infinite Space, and the Infinite Stars thereof, do ye also thus. Bind nothing! Let there be no difference made among you between any one thing & any other thing; for thereby there cometh hurt.

22. Nun, deshalb bin ich euch bei meinem Namen Nuit bekannt und ihm bei einem geheimen Namen, den ich ihm geben werde, wenn er mich endlich kennt. Weil ich der Unendliche Raum bin und die Unendlichen Sterne darin, tuet ihr desgleichen. Bindet nichts! Machet da unter euch keinen Unterschied zwischen irgendeiner Sache & irgendeiner anderen Sache; denn dadurch kommet Schmerz.

22. Итак, посему я известна вам под именем Нуит, а ему - под тайным именем, которое я открою ему, когда наконец он познает меня.

Я - бесконечное Пространство с его бесконечным числом Звезд, и вы поступайте так: Не сковывайте ничего! Не делайте различия меж собою об одних вещах и о других, ибо от этого вред.

22. Teraz więc, jestem wam znana pod mym imieniem Nuit, a jemu pod sekretnym imieniem, które mu podam gdy w końcu mnie pozna. Gdyż jestem Nieskończoną Przestrzenią i jej Nieskończonymi Gwiazdami, jako i wy jesteście. Nie przywiązujcie się do niczego! Niechaj pośród was nie będzie czyniona różnica pomiędzy jakąkolwiek rzeczą, a jakąś inną; gdyż stąd pochodzi ból.

23. But whoso availeth in this, let him be the chief of all!

23. Aber wer auch immer darin Vorteil erlangt hat, laßt ihn den Führer von allen sein.

26. Then saith the prophet and slave of the beauteous one: Who am I, and what shall be the sign? So she answered him, bending down, a lambent flame of blue, all-touching, all penetrant, her lovely hands upon the black earth, & her lithe body arched for love, and her soft feet not hurting the little flowers: Thou knowest! And the sign shall be my ecstasy, the consciousness of the continuity of existence, the omnipresence of my body.

26. Dann spricht der Prophet und Sklave der Schönen: Wer bin ich und was soll das Zeichen sein? So antwortete sie ihm, sich niederbeugend, eine züngelnde blaue Flamme, all-berührend, alles durchdringend, ihre lieblichen Hände auf der schwarzen Erde & ihr geschmeidiger Körper zur Liebe gewölbt und ihre sanften Füße verletzten nicht die kleinen Blumen: Du weißt! Und das Zeichen soll meine Ekstase sein, das Bewußtsein der Kontinuität der Existenz, der Allgegenwart meines Körpers.

26. И тогда пророк и раб Прекраснейшей сказал: Кто я, и в чём будет знамение? И она отвечала ему, склонившись; играющее голубое пламя, всезатрагивающее, всепроницающее, её прекрасные руки над чёрной землёй, её податливое тело выгнуто для любви, её нежные ступни не примяли ни малейшего цветка: Ты знаешь! Знамением же да будет мой экстаз, сознание непрерывности бытия, вездесущность моего тела.

26. Wówczas rzekł prorok i niewolnik najpiękniejszej: Kim że jestem i jaki będzie znak? Więc odrzekła mu, opuszczając w dół liżący płomień błękitu, wszechobecny, wszechprzenikający – jej rozkoszne dłonie ku czarnej ziemi, a jej giętkie ciało wygięte w łuk, i delikatne stopy nie raniące najmniejszych nawet kwiatków. Ty wiesz! A znakiem będzie ma ekstaza, świadomość ciągłości istnienia, wszechobecność mego ciała.

27. Then the priest answered & said unto the Queen of Space, kissing her lovely brows, and the dew of her light bathing his whole body in a sweet-smelling perfume of sweat: O Nuit, continuous one of Heaven, let it be ever thus; that men speak not of Thee as One but as None; and let them speak not of thee at all, since thou art continuous!

27. Dann antwortete der Priester & sprach zu der Königin des Raumes, ihre holde Stirn küssend, und der Tau ihres Lichtes badete seinen ganzen Körper in einem süßriechenden Parfüm aus Schweiß: O Nuit, Kontinuierliche des Himmels, laß es immer so sein; daß die Menschen von Dir nicht als Eins sondern als Keins sprechen; und lasse sie überhaupt nicht von Dir sprechen, weil Du kontinuierlich bist!

27. Тогда отвечал жрец и сказал Царице Пространства, целуя прекрасное чело её, и роса её света нектаром пота: О Нуит, простирающаяся средь Небес, да будет так во веки; да не скажут про Тебя: Нечто, но скажут: Ничто; пусть же не говорят о тебе вовсе, раз ты есть простирающаяся!

27. Wówczas kapłan odpowiedział i rzekł Królowej Przestrzeni, całując jej rozkoszne brwi, a rosa jej światła skąpała jego całe ciało słodko pachnącym zapachem potu: O Nuit, ciągłości Nieba, niechaj będzie tak zawsze; tak iż ludzie nie mówią o tobie nie jako o Jednej, lecz jako o Żadnej; i niechaj nie mówią o tobie wcale, jako że jesteś ciągła!

28. None, breathed the light, faint & faery, of the stars, and two.

29. For I am divided for love's sake, for the chance of union.

30. This is the creation of the world, that the pain of division is as nothing, and the joy of dissolution all.

31. For these fools of men and their woes care not thou at all! They feel little; what is, is balanced by weak joys; but ye are my chosen ones.

31. Um diese Narren von Menschen und ihre Nöte sorge dich nicht im geringsten! Sie fühlen wenig; was ist, ist durch schwache Freuden ausgeglichen; aber ihr seid meine Erwählten.

31. Об этих глупцах из числа людей и их печалях не заботься вовсе! Чувствуют они мало; что есть, уравновешено лишь вялыми радостями; но вы есть избранные мои.

31. O głupców spośród ludzi i ich niedole nie troszcz się wcale! Niewiele oni czują; to co jest, równoważone jest radostkami; lecz wy jesteście moimi wybrańcami.

32. Obey my prophet! follow out the ordeals of my knowledge! seek me only! Then the joys of my love will redeem ye from all pain. This is so; I swear it by the vault of my body; by my sacred heart and tongue; by all I can give, by all I desire of ye all.

32. Gehorchet meinem Propheten! befolget die (Gottes-) urteile meines Wissens! suchet nur mich! Dann werden die Freuden meiner Liebe euch von allem Schmerz erlösen. So ist es; ich schwöre es bei der Wölbung meines Leibes; bei meinem heiligen Herzen und Zunge; bei allem, was ich geben kann, bei allem, was ich von euch allen begehre.

32. Повинуйтесь пророку моему! Следуйте испытаниям моего знания! Ищите только меня! Тогда радости моей любви исцелят вас от всякой боли. Это так; клянусь в этом сводом моего тела; священным сердцем моим и языком; всем, что могу дать вам, всем, чего от вас желаю.

32. Słuchajcie się mego proroka! podążajcie za próbami mej wiedzy! mnie tylko szukajcie! Wówczas radość mojej miłości wyzwoli was od bólu wszelkiego. Tak właśnie jest: przysięgam na firmament mego ciała; na me sekretne serce i język; na wszystko co dać mogę, na wszystko czego pragnę od was. 

33. Then the priest fell into a deep trance or swoon, & said unto the Queen of Heaven; Write unto us the ordeals; write unto us the rituals; write unto us the law!

33. Dann fiel der Priester in eine tiefe Trance oder

Ohnmacht & sprach zu der Königin des Himmels; Schreibe uns die Prüfungen; schreibe uns die Rituale; schreibe uns das Gesetz!

33. Тогда впал жрец в глубокий транс или обморок, и сказал Царице Небес: Напиши нам испытания; напиши нам ритуалы; напиши нам закон!

33. Wówczas kapłan zapadł w głęboki trans lub omdlenie i rzekł do Królowej Nieba; Napisz nam próby; napisz nam rytuały; napisz nam prawo!

34. But she said: the ordeals I write not: the rituals shall be half known and half concealed: the Law is for all.

34. Sie aber sprach: die Prüfungen schreibe ich nicht: die Rituale sollen halb bekannt und halb verborgen sein: das Gesetz ist für alle.

34. Но сказала она: испытаний я не пишу, ритуалы пусть будут наполовину известны, наполовину сокрыты, Закон - для всех.

35. This that thou writest is the threefold book of Law.

35. To co piszesz jest potrójna księgą Prawa.

36. My scribe Ankh-af-na-khonsu, the priest of the princes, shall not in one letter change this book; but lest there be folly, he shall comment thereupon by the wisdom of Ra-Hoor-Khu-it.

36. Mein Schreiber Ankh-af-na-khonsu, der Priester der Prinzen, soll nicht einen Buchstaben dieses Buches verändern; aber damit keine Narrheit entstehe, soll er es mit der Weisheit von Ra-Hoor-Khu-it kommentieren.

36. Да не изменит писец мой Анх-аф-на-хонсу, наследный жрец, в Книге сей ни единой буквы; дабы не возникло недоумения, пусть прокомментирует её с помощью мудрости Ра-Гор-Ху-ита.

36.  Mój skryba Ankh-af-na-khonsu, kapłan książąt, nie zmieni nawet jednej litery tej księgi; lecz by uniknąć szaleństwa, będzie komentował ją poprzez mądrość Ra-Hoor-Khu-it'a.

37. Also the mantras and spells; the obeah and the wanga; the work of the wand and the work of the sword; these he shall learn and teach.

37. Auch die Mantras und die Zauber; das Obeah und das Wanga; die Arbeit des Stabes und die Arbeit des Schwertes; diese soll er lernen und lehren.

39. Słowem Prawa jest THELEMA.

40. Who calls us Thelemites will do no wrong, if he look but close into the word. For there are therein Three Grades, the Hermit, and the Lover, and the man of Earth. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

40. Wer uns Thelemiten nennt, tut nichts falsches, wenn er nur genau in das Wort schaut. Denn darin gibt es Drei Grade; den Einsiedler und den Liebenden und den Menschen der Erde. Tu was du willst soll sein das ganze Gesetz.

40. Зовущий нас Телемитами не ошибётся, если внимательно рассмотрит это слово. Ибо в нём Три Ступени - Отшельник, Влюблённый и Человек Земной. Делай, что изволишь - таков весь Закон.

40. Nie uczyni źle ten, kto zwie nas Thelemitami, jeśli bliżej się przyjrzy temu słowu. Albowiem są w nim Trzy Stopnie, Eremita, Kochanek i człowiek Ziemi. Czyń swoja wolę będzie całym Prawem.

41. The word of Sin is Restriction. O man! refuse not thy wife, if she will! O lover, if thou wilt, depart! There is no bond that can unite the divided but love: all else is a curse. Accursed! Accursed be it to the aeons! Hell.

41. Das Wort der Sünde ist Beschränkung. O Mann! weise dein Weib nicht zurück, wenn sie will! O Liebender, wenn du willst, scheide! Es gibt kein Band, daß die Getrennten vereinen kann, außer der Liebe: alles andere ist ein Fluch. Verflucht! Verflucht sei es auf alle Äonen! Hölle.

41. Слово Греха - Ограничение. О муж! Не откажи жене своей, если она хочет! О любовник, если на то воля твоя, уходи! Нет уз, способных соединить разделённое, кроме любви: всё остальное есть проклятие. Проклято! Будь проклято оно в эонах! Ад.

41. Słowem Grzechu jest Ograniczenie. O mężczyzno! Nie odmawiaj żonie, jeśli ona pragnie! O kochanku, jeśli taka twa wola, odejdź! Nie ma takich więzów, które by mogły zjednoczyć podzielonych, prócz miłości: wszystko inne jest przekleństwem. Przeklęte! Przeklęte niechaj będzie przez eony! Piekło.

42. Let it be that state of manyhood bound and loathing. So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do thy will.

42. Der Zustand der Vielfältigkeit soll Gebundenheit und Ekel sein. So mit all deinem; du hast kein Recht als deinen Willen zu tun.

42. Пусть будут привязанность и отвращение уделом большинства. Итак, относительно всего, что твоё, нет у тебя иного права, кроме как выполнять волю свою.

42. Niechaj ten stan wielości ograniczonym będzie i wstrętnym. I tak dla wszystkich; nie masz żadnego prawa, prócz czyń swoją wolę.

43. Do that, and no other shall say nay.

43. Tu dies und keiner soll nein sagen.

43. Делай так, и никто не скажет "нет".

43. Czyń tak, a nikt inny nie powie nie.

44. For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.

44. Denn reiner Wille, unbefleckt von Zweck, befreit von der Gier nach Ergebnis, ist in jeder Hinsicht vollkommen.

44. Ибо чистая воля, лишённая умысла, свободная от вожделения результата, совершенна во всех отношениях.

44. Gdyż czysta wola, niezaspokojona celem, wyzwolona z żądzy rezultatu jest w pełni doskonała.

45. The Perfect and the Perfect are one Perfect and not two; nay, are none!

45. Das Vollkommene und das Vollkommene sind ein Vollkommenes und nicht zwei; nein, sind keins!

45. Совершенство и Совершенство суть одно Совершенство, а не два; нет, они ничто!

45. Doskonałe i Doskonałe są jednym Doskonałym, i nie dwoma; nie, są niczym!

46. Nothing is a secret key of this law. Sixty-one the Jews call it; I call it eight, eighty, four hundred & eighteen.

46. Nichts ist ein geheimer Schlüssel dieses Gesetzes. Die Juden nennen es ein-und-sechzig; ich nenne es acht, achtzig, vier hundert & achtzehn.

46. Ничто - тайный ключ этого закона. Евреи называют его "шестьдесят один"; я называю его: "восемь", "восемьдесят", "четыреста и восемнадцать".

46. Nic jest sekretnym kluczem tego prawa. Żydzi zwą go sześćdziesiąt-jeden; Ja nazywam go osiem, osiemdziesiąt, czterysta i osiemnaście.

47. But they have the half: unite by thine art so that all disappear.

47. Aber sie haben die Hälfte: vereinige durch deine Kunst, auf daß alles verschwinde.
