Hello Ghost Train runners!
Race weekend is creeping closer, and I have a few important updates to share as we continue counting down to Ghost Train!
Ghost Train Discussion Panel — Thursday, September 10
Our 2026 Ghost Train Discussion Panel is happening this Thursday, September 10 at 7:00 PM, and everyone is welcome to join us either in person or virtually.

We'll be joined by a terrific group of experienced Ghost Train runners who will share what they've learned and answer your questions about preparing for race weekend:
Lisa Jackson, Jim Lampman, Adam Dodge, Wayne Ball, Maria Chevalier, and Liv Colombo
We'll talk about everything from gear, fueling and hydration to foot care, overnight running, pacing, and some of the lessons that only come from spending many, many miles on the Ghost Train course.
Can't make it Thursday night?
The discussion will be recorded and posted to the Ghost Train website within a day or two after the event.

Waitlist reminder
The
30-Hour Ultra, Haunted Night 30-Mile, and 15-Mile Race are all currently full and have waitlists.
If you already know that you won't be able to join us this year, please consider letting us know so that another runner who's waiting for a spot can have the opportunity to participate.
