October 20th Email (Sent to All 2025 Participants)

Good morning!

I'll send one more email later as a true follow up from an amazing weekend, but I had a couple of quick items I wanted to share.

I also want to say - THANK YOU!  It was an amazing weekend, and I'm very thankful that you were a part of it.  I won't get too mushy, but seeing everyone doing amazing things and enjoying the beautiful autumn weather we had was, well, beyond words.

- Results: Please check the preliminary finishing times/splits on Webscorer: https://www.webscorer.com/racedetails?raceid=408852&did=550351. Note that these are preliminary and include all splits.  Final results will include only full out and backs along the trail for all races. (You have bragging rights for the rest of your life for half splits if you drop, etc, but only full out and backs completed by 3pm are official!)  If there are corrections, please email ghosttrainrace@gmail.com by midnight tonight.  Final results should be posted tomorrow on Ultrasignup.

- Buckles: Adam Dodge does an AMAZING job managing the buckles for the race, which he does as a volunteer.  Unfortunately, despite best estimates, there were more finishers than buckles this year.  If you completed 100 or more miles at Ghost Train and didn't have a chance to purchase a buckle, please reach out to Adam via Facebook and he'll set you up to receive one from an order he'll be placing soon.  If you aren't on Facebook or not a member of the Facebook Group, email me and I'll work to connect you.  (Still ghosttrainrace@gmail.com!)
