30-Hour Ultra & Relay
Hi Ghost Train Runners!!
It's hard to believe the race is this weekend already! I have some quick information for you to read over before the race. Thank you in advance and see you soon!!
Race: 30-Hour Ultra & Relay
Address: 1 Mason Road, Brookline NH
Parking & Bib Pickup Opens: 7am Saturday
Race Start: 9am Saturday
7th Out & Back - just a kind reminder that all 7th laps MUST be 10 miles and turnaround at the 100 mile turnaround. (You'll see it, don't worry) This is for everyone! Why? Timing computers don't like some laps being 10 miles and others being 15 miles, so everyone should do 10 miles. You can do 15, but then 5 miles doesn't count.
Please bring a reusable cup as we try to be as cupless as possible at the aid stations. We'd like you to enjoy some soda or hot broth though! On the Earth friendly topic, if you can carpool, please do!
30-Hour Race and Relay runners can set up at Camp Tevya starting Friday October 18th at 3pm. Please don’t arrive early! If you haven't done so already, please fill out the Camping Information form before you come on Friday. Runners are allowed a 10x10 tent or similar. If you have a 10x10 and a sleeping tent, please try to find a location where your sleeping tent can go behind the pop-up. Also be sure to stake your tents down VERY WELL! Tents have been known to sail across camp on windy days.
Yes, you can set up Saturday instead. There will be room for you, don't worry! However, you won't be able drive to your spot like Friday, so be prepared to carry your items or bring a cart.
Drop bags can be dropped at either Camp Tevya to stay or be transported to the Milford turnaround. You'll see signs near the bib pickup for both.
Period products are available at all aid stations.
Those individual runners that finish 100 miles or more can buy a 100 Mile Finisher buckle from Adam Dodge. Cash or Venmo is accepted. I believe they are $55 per buckle. (Thanks Adam!)
Camps MUST BE BROKEN DOWN, and OFF CAMP TEVYA by 4pm Sunday. The camp is extremely generous to us but would like to close up before dark, and we honestly want to get home, shower and sleep! You are absolutely welcome to sleep and recover in your car across the street in the parking area there, or at the school on the other side of Rt13.
If you can do so, please bring food items for the local food pantries. Things are tough out there for many people, and a few food items (or feminine products or personal care items!) really add up. Check out the great list from the Brookline Food Pantry for ideas - e.g. they have plenty of canned tuna and beans. But they could really use many other things!
We could still use a few more volunteers in certain areas, especially the Brookline Aid Station at various hours and the Timing Assistant Tent Sunday from noon to 3pm. If you or someone you know can take a shift, please go to our Volunteering page and learn more!
Swag will be available! Ghost Train ball caps and beanies from the Conservation Commissions will be available, cash only. Marathon Sports will have a tent with some hydration options, GUs, and many other products, credit preferred please. Plus we'll have amazing stuff from Move Free! Cash is always welcomed, and Move Free will accept Venmo.
The awesome spaghetti dinner is on Friday October 17th!
And, in case you didn't hear already, I'll be cheering at the Milford DPW from dusk until at least midnight. Part of that cheering will include the theme - Saturday Night Fever! Get those disco dance moves dusted off and be ready for some music and fun while you come through!
Thanks to all our sponsors!

Haunted Night 30-Miler
Hi Ghost Train Runners!!
It's hard to believe the race is this weekend already! I have some quick information for you to read over before the race. Thank you in advance and see you soon!!
Race: Haunted Night 30-Miler
Address: 289 South Street, Milford NH
Parking & Bib Pickup Opens: 2pm Saturday
Race Start: 4pm Saturday
I'd suggest bringing or wearing a headlamp or other lights at the start unless you're sure to finish the first 15 mile out and back by 5:58pm, which is sunset. I'd also highly suggest bringing extra layers on your run and in a drop bag at the Milford aid station, as temps can drop quickly once the sun goes down.
Please bring a reusable cup as we try to be as cupless as possible at the aid stations. We'd like you to enjoy some soda or hot broth though! On the Earth friendly topic, if you can carpool, please do!
Several people have asked about setting up tents. Honestly there isn't a ton of room at the DPW, but feel free to bring them and see what works out. You may be better off with a chair and a drop bag which you can leave by your chair or under the race pop up tent. Also, no pets and no open flames even if you do set up a chair/tent.
Period products are available at all aid stations.
If you can do so, please bring food items for the local food pantries. Things are tough out there for many people, and a few food items (or feminine products or personal care items!) really add up.
