Sebastian Salazar-Colores received his B. S. degree in Computer Science from Universidad Autonoma Benito Juarez de Oaxaca, received his M. S. degree in Electrical Engineering at Universidad de Guanajuato. He is a PhD in Computer Science at the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro. His research interest are image processing and computer vision

Alejandro Flores

Master in Optomechatronics

His professional interests are the control systems applied to robotic and aerial systems for autonomous applications. His thesis to get a Master degree is “Design and development of an UAV with hybrid flight capabilities”. Currently he is working in a low cost Optical Flow using a standard camera on a Jetson TX2 board in the UAV system. He has an accepted paper in the CDC’18 titled “Design of a simple controller for the flight mode transition of a tail-sitter drone”.

Germán Ramírez

German’s research interests include in robotics, automation, artificial intelligence. In particular, focuses on designing and the development of virtual environment applications.


Rodolfo Verdín

Rodolfo's professional interest are mechanics applied at robotic systems. His research focuses on the application of virtual environments in robotics system using UNITY software that work in Parallel with physical system using ROS nodes . He mainly work on mechanics design with ROS applications.


Raul Vargas

Gesem Gudiño

Gesem’s professional interests are in robotics and intelligent systems. In particular his research focuses on the application of deep learning techniques such as object detection and image classification in order to develop autonomous systems.


Hugo Moreno

Hugo Moreno received the Robotics Engineering degree in 2016 at the Universidad Politécnica del Bicentenario in Méxıco. Currently, is studying his M.S. degree in optomecatronic at Centro de Investigaciones en Optica A.C His research interest is related to artificial intelligence and automation.

My professional interests are robotics, control, and computer vision applied to precision agriculture. My thesis to get the Master degree is “Construction and control of an aerial vehicle for crop monitoring”. Now I’m working in a low-cost multi-spectral imaging system for crop monitoring with the use of an UAV.
