Modeling, estimation and control for optical interferometry

This research deals with three important aspects of interferometer systems:

  • Dynamic modeling,
  • Estimation and
  • Control.

Up to our knowledge a research of interefrometry from the perspective of systems theory is an unexplored area. Therefore, this research project is one of the first that introduces control theory to the interferometry, which opens an area of opportunity of research between two areas of science: Optics and Control Systems.
