ASPNF GOLEM page

Student group discussion: (Six groups, 10-15 students per group)

Each group will be involved in GOLEM remote experiment then will discuss their findings.

Useful backgrounds to have: 

• Electromagnetism: simple electrical circuits (resistor, inductor, capacitor), Joule effect (responsible for the ohmic power heating a tokamak plasma).

• Ideal gas law (to determine plasma density from the gas pressure)

• Thermodynamics (to calculate plasma energy content)
