• Welcome to the homepage of the first ASEAN School on Plasma and Nuclear Fusion (ASPNF2015). This first international fusion and plasma school in Thailand will be organized by Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) and Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat U. (SIIT-TU). It will be an intensive one-week course taught by fusion experts in the field from France and Japan. This school is part of the Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Magnetic Fusion Research between CEA and TINT/SIIT/TU.

Participants: Students (Undergraduate and Graduate) and young scientists from Thailand and from ASEAN countries.

Objectives:

·        Provide thorough understanding of fusion science and technology and the current development for interested students.

·        Initiate research interests and collaborations in plasma and nuclear fusion among the ASEAN countries and others.

Lecturers:

·        Expert scientists from CEA, France and Japan

·        University professors
