The 2nd ASEAN School on Plasma and Nuclear Fusion (ASPNF2016) will be organized by Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT), Research Institute on Magnetic Fusion of French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA), Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), and Chulalongkorn University (CU) with support from many other organizations (CU, TU, French Embassy of Thailand, NRCT, AAPPS-DPP, NST, TPS). It will be an intensive one-week course taught by fusion experts in the field from Thailand, France, and Japan. This school is part of the Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Magnetic Fusion Research between CEA and TINT/SIIT/TU.

Participants: Students (Undergraduate and Graduate) and young scientists from Thailand and from ASEAN countries or others.

Objectives:

·To provide thorough understanding of fusion science and technology and the current development

·To initiate research interests and collaborations in plasma and nuclear fusion among the ASEAN countries and others

Support: All participants who are accepted into the program will be provided with lunches. Limited additional grants are available to some participants. Please contact the organizers directly.
