Today this paper came out:

Now, why is this of any importance?

For long time people have debated about the ontology of quantum mechanics: what is it? Can it be described by a classical system (with memory)? The answer is yes: De Broglie-Bohm pilot wave theory describes up to a certain extent quantum mechanics with the introduction of a pilot wave (an underlying fluid) which is "guiding" the particle. This is the explanation usually given to the particle-wave duality. For a physicist this is a holy grail, and having the possibility of finding a macroscopic "quantum" system is of macroscopic importance.

And look how beautiful it is.

I would like to calculate the dimension of the random walk.
