Combat Basics
Strike - A value added to 1D20 that must exceed a target Defense Score to be able to roll damage.
Strike - 1D20 + Strike Bonus
Defense Score- When Rolling to Strike an attack must exceed the defense score to hit his target
Defense - 10 + Defense Bonus + PP Bonus
Maneuvers
Combat Skills now choose Maneuvers, and each maneuver provides bonuses to Strike, Parry, Dodge, or special Effect. Bonuses or penalties to strike apply to the attack roll for that attack only. Bonuses or Penalties to Parry and Dodge are cumulatively applied to the characters innate Defense.
Description
Knockdown - Lose Initiative; 1 Action to Stand Up; 1d6 per 20’
Move - Move (in) or (out) of combat range as part of the maneuver.
Combat Range - 5' or less. Enter Combat Range at the cost of 1 Action
Dodge - A Maneuver that adds to your Defense
Critical - Damage x2
Knockout - Character Stunned for 1D4 rounds
Surprise - Must have Initiative over target, Target must be unaware, or Target is caught in a surprise round
