The Finnish International Workers Rally in 1942 to benefit Russia, China

Spencer Finns send money to the Soviet Red Army and China in 1942, November 1942

The Finnish International Workers Order sponsored a victory rally at the Spencer Central School, it was the biggest rally of its kind ever held in the area. A basket of roses donated for the benefit of medical aid to the Red Army was sold for $368. The door receipts of $101 were divided between Chinese War Relief and the USO.
