"About 20 years ago I went to the Seneca County Clerks office and found that between 1910-1966 there were 90 deeds granted to Finns. I copied down all the names and dates. I did the same for Schuyler County, and found that between 1910-1965 there were 99 deeds granted to Finns. Total deeds granted doesn’t equate to total Finnish families, because some families made multiple property purchases over the years." Richard Koski, 2020

Loos, Marilyn (2004) Passing of the Van Etten Finn Hall. Poem. The Finn Hall in Van Etten was established in 1923, when the Finns purchased the original Baptist Church building.
