5/3/2012 Dancing With Max Emily Colson, 2010

This is an extremely inspiring story about how a single mother overcomes the struggles of parenting a child diagnosed with autism. It is not a fairy tale with a magical

ending. It is a real life story of second chances in spite of life's hardest problems. This story willmake you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will capture your heart and

really take a look at how much we really take our life for granted.

1/10/2018 The Five People You Meet In Heaven Mitch Albom, 2003

Inspiration "1/5/18 The Five People You Meet In Heaven Mitch Albom 2003 Inspiration This book showcases a unique, sentimental outlook on life. It is a simple, pure

book for a reader who is looking for a different perspective on life as a whole. This book is third person narration, and describes the life of 83 year-old Eddie, a pier

maintenance man who is minutes away from dying and doesn’t knowit. The author takes you through his entrance into heaven, which is not the paradise he pictured.

When Eddie arrives, he meets five people who influenced his life one way or another, even if some seem to be complete strangers to him. The way the author conducts

this novel shows how intricate and delicate life is and how valuable a person’s actions can be. I would give this book a 10/10, as the discussion the reader will want to

have afterwards is what really makes it a must-read.

10/20/2014 The Five People You Meet in Heaven Mitch Albom, 2003

The Five People You Meet in Heaven is an amazing book. It's about this old man named Eddie who dies on his 83rd birthday trying to save a little girl from a

falling attraction at the amusement park he works at. He arrives in Heaven, and has to undergo five different trials from people either from his past, or people

he has some sort of connection with, to learn a new lesson about his life. It truly gave me a new outlook on how I live my life, and opened my eyes to

everything around. Life moves too quickly to spend time being angry and regretting your losses, so you need to let go and truly live every once in a while.

1/10/2018 If You Feel Too Much Jamie Tworkowski, 2015

The book “If You Feel Too Much” genuinely changed my thoughts on those who struggle with mental illness and addiction. The author, Jamie Tworkowski, is

the founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to helping adolescents struggling with addiction, to find help. This book shares the story of Tworkowski’s

close friend, Renee Yohe, and her battle against addiction, depression and self-injury. The author helped to show Renee that she was worthy of having friends,

being loved and feeling happiness. He explains how communication is the most important part of getting help.

5/30/2013 Life of Pi Yann Martel, 2001

Life of Pi is a great book for anyone who just wants a good book to read. This book is not just an easy read. You will actually have to commit to it and pay attention

to all of the details to fully understand it. You MAY NOT want to read this if you are a big animal lover because there are some very visual scenes that describe the

deaths of some animals.

4/25/2012 Life Strategies for Teens Jay McGraw, 2000

Who would've thought the son of Dr. Phil a.k.a. Phillip McGraw would write a book on how to be a teen. This book has many strategies that can give insight on how

to be a teen, but still conduct yourself accordingly with your parents. These lessons can be incorporated in a teen's daily life. There is some language and some

thing said that should be kept between you and your parents, but overall the book makes you think about your flaws as a teen and to find a way to better hone them

to your wants and needs.

9/30/2014 Life Without Limits Nick Vujicic, 2010

I recommend this book for everyone. It is defiantly a book everyone should read because the lessons learned are vital to living a happy well rounded life. Nick Vujicic

was born without limbs yet he still has an indomitable mindset. He has worked hard to become a successful speaker in spite of his disability. He also stresses the

importance of helping people. Overall this is an excellent book.

5/30/2013 Luna Julie Anne Peters, 2004

This is the only book I’ve ever read that had a character who was trans-gendered. I’ve read a book by this author before and she is an amazing author. This is definitely

a book I would recommend if you like dramatic stories. This book is also educational in the sense that the reader somewhat gets a feel for what it would be like to have

a friend or sibling who felt trapped in the body they are in and how stressful it can be to hold a secret in for a long time. Trust me there are parts in the novel where you

may want to cry or you get frustrated, but that’s a good thing. There is some language in this book but it helps to develop the plot.

2/3/2016 Rachel's Tears Steve Rabey, 2000

If I were to recommend a book, it would be Rachel's tears. I love this book because it shows how strength and devotion can save you. It's about a little girl who is truly

devoted to Christ and she doesn't care who knows about her religion she doesn't Trying to preach to anyone she just wants to spread the word of Christ through her

actions. She along with a couple other people that didn't fit into the desired social circles were shot in the school shooting by two boys that hated Christians and anybody

that wasn't there a race.although she was gone her word was still spreading and she knew something was going to happen and she wasn't going to be around much longer

and she was OK with that because she knew that's what Christ wanted. She knew she was saved and that was all that mattered she just wanted to give her life devoted

to Christ.

5/24/2013 The Shack William Paul Young, 2007

If you enjoy books about suspense, mystery, romance, and a little bit of action, The Shack is the perfect read for you! It is actually about a little girl who is kidnapped

and murdered, and after years of hatred toward the murderer, God calls the father back to the shack and has a life changing experience. This book will move your heart

and you will not want to put it down. It will always have you wondering what happens next. It is filled with so many questions and answers, and the ending of the book

is perfect and in fact I would read it again. I recommend this book to everyone, those who love every kind of genre.

5/29/2013 The Shack William P. Young, 2007

I read The Shack as one of my Literary Analysis books and highly recommend it to any reader in search of a book that will grab your attention and touch your spiritual

side. This book has a fictional setting but a realistic understanding. I thought it was great because the chapters weren’t too long, and at the end of each chapter you

were left wanting to read more. There is not anything too graphic; however, the story line has to do with murder of a child (including the father's emotions). I guarantee

you will love this book just as much as I did!

1/10/2018 Through my Eyes Tim Tebow, 2011

Tim Tebow is a really good man. His book talks about his life growing up. He was one of the youngest in his family. But that didn't stop him of achieving his goals.

He worded for everything he is now. If someone asked him to do pull ups he would do more then they asked. He started to play football and fell in love with the sport

and he wanted to be better and he pushed himself. He always wanted to be the bestin his family or best on his team. It talks about his high school football team and

how he wasn't the position he wanted to be and he kept on asking the couch to be put on that position. He ended up in there because there QB got hurt. This book just

really tells you how that if you want something all you have to do is push yourself and put in hard work.

5/29/2013 Walk Two Moons Sharon Creech, 1994

I would recommend this book to any one who loves books that make you keep reading until you get to the end. This book is a simple book told in the perceptive of a

teenage girl Sal who wants to know why her mother ran away from home and never came back. It's full of humor, tragedy, and suspense. The ending is something you

would expect while reading the book, but never want to hear. If you want to read a book that will lighten your spirit and make you look at life in a different perspective,

I would definitely recommend this book for you!

1/10/2018 Wonder R.J. Palacio, 2012
