A Proud Muslim

I'm a Proud Muslim

I'm proud to be a Muslim. I love reading Quran because it helps me heal and become closer to God/Allah. Prayers help me be stronger and up to the challenges I face. I always pray to God to help me in my mission to succeed in my life and make my dreams come true and gain my God’s forgiveness by being one of the people who are going to paradise “jannah”.

Although media makes people think that every Muslim woman is oppressed because of wearing hijab, many don't know that my religion did not prevent me (and many other Muslim women) from seeking knowledge and studying abroad even though I’m wearing hijab since I was an undergraduate. I respect all other religions because my prophet asked us to do so.
