4 Network Structure

In the first part of this class we discuss the Heidi Roizen case in light of the social capital concepts discussed in the previous class.

We then move to look at network structures as a whole. How do different structures relate to different functions? How do different structures arise? Searching for subgroups or "communities". Examining patterns of ties within and between groups.
