EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Microsoft was created in 1975 by two students, Bill Gates and Paul Allen. This company is a computer technology corporation. Microsoft Corporation is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential. It develops, manufactures, licenses and supports a wide range of software products for computing devices.

Microsoft corporation was my choice to make my financial analysis course because it is one of the major companies in the software industry & its history is rich and its future is dynamic.

A difficult economic climate made fiscal 2009 a challenging year for Microsoft and its entire industry. But its core values — fiscal conservatism, a long-term approach to research and development, and a deep commitment to the power of technology to improve people’s lives — have served the company well.

The recession has not changed Microsoft fundamental approach to its business. Technological innovation has always been the foundation of Microsoft’s growth and success. The company invest more in research and development to drive innovation than any other company in its industry, and the breadth and depth of its engineering and scientific talent is unmatched.

Microsoft still has a lot of growth ahead in some areas such as Games, Search and Other Device. But, that depends on where management wants to take it.

Microsoft is in a great position to lead the way. With a superb pipeline of products and ongoing long-term investments in key technology areas such as cloud computing, natural user interfaces, scientific computing, and much more, it will continue to deliver innovations that help people lead richer, more productive, more creative, and more connected lives.

Finally , Microsoft Deserves to stay. because it's a high-bred company that Accomplished much achievements and still made a lot.
