Check List of what your Unit Plan should include:
Must cover at least 10 days of class meetings in detail (LMU Lesson Plan Template).
Daily bullets or outlines are fine for the rest of the days.
Must cover an entire work of literature: a novel, play, or non-fiction book.
Must cover at least ten days total (2 weeks if you meet daily). Daily plans required (in outline form is fine- you may use the six LMU. I need to see what you are doing and what the students are doing EVERYDAY for 2 weeks. Must cover an entire standard or unit such as the Romeo and Juliet (not half of the play). Whatever you start, please finish. Obviously, you cannot teach a unit in 2 weeks. Thus your two weeks must cover 2 or 3 lessons at the beginning, 4-6 lessons in the middle, and 2 or 3 lessons at the end (Into-Through-Beyond).
