Pool Rules
Delaware Community Homeowners Association
It is important that all residents be familiar with the following pool rules. It is the responsibility of each resident to enforce and obey these rules.
Pool Hours 9:00am to 10:00pm Daily
Please be considerate of other residents when inviting guests to use the amenities. No more than 4 guests per household at one time. All guests must be accompanied by a resident of the community at all times.
The pool cannot be reserved. (To discuss exceptions to this rule please contact a Pool Committee Member.)
Children UNDER 14 years of age MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult, as required by Indiana State Department of Health.
NO LIFEGUARD will be on duty. Anyone using the pool does so at their own risk.
Pets are NOT allowed.
Only proper swimwear is allowed and must be worn at all times.
NO DISPOSABLE DIAPERS. If not “potty trained”, children MUST wear swim diapers designed for swimming. (Please dispose of in trash receptacles provided.)
NO DIVING allowed.
NO SMOKING allowed.
NO GLASS allowed in the pool facility.
No food or drinks allowed in the pools, per Indiana State Department of Health. Always clean up after yourself before leaving.
When lightening is spotted, the pool and deck area will be cleared.
The Association is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles, accidents or injuries. Unclaimed items left behind at the pool will be placed in the “Lost & Found” tub temporarily. (Reminder - - Please write your name on all personal items brought to the pool area.)
There will be a $10.00 charge for replacement of lost pool key.*
To prevent damage, please make sure table umbrellas are closed down after use.

The Indiana State Dept of Health Swimming Pool Rule 410 IAC 6-2.1 adds the following regulations to our pool safety rules:
No Swimming Alone. Children under 14 years of age and nonswimmers shall not use the pool unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
An older sibling under 21 is not permitted to be responsible for younger sibling(s).
Improvement needed: All homeowners using the pool shall clean up trash and toys -- no food near or in pool
Any acts of vandalism should be reported to 911 Police. Protect the neighborhood community property.
Pool accidents that require shutting down pool and immediate reporting to pool service:
- vomit
- non solid fecal accidents
- solid fecal accidents

Additional rules and regulations may be posted in the pool area, per the Board of Health.
PLEASE HELP KEEP POOL FACILITIES SAFE, CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITION SO THAT ALL RESIDENTS MAY ENJOY OUR POOL !
