Timely Q&A:
Are contractors working on your property? If so, please inform them that they are NOT to post any signs in your yard. The DT/DC Covenants prohibit any signs other than real estate "For Sale" or "For Rent" signs.
Planning any improvements to you property? All structural or landscaping modifications/ improvements must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee PRIOR to starting work. Please download and complete an "Architectural Change Request Form" (see link below).
Why are the streets not plowed in a timely manner after a snowfall? The streets in Delaware Trace and Commons are owned by the City of Carmel, and they are responsible for keeping them clear in the winter. Streets are plowed on a priority basis, with major streets and school bus routes plowed first and often. Side streets are plowed later. Cul-de-sacs are low on the list. If you are unhappy with the City's response, please contact the Street Department at 733-2001.
My mailbox was damaged by snowplows, what do I do? If your mailbox has been damaged by Carmel snow plows, please contact the Carmel Street Department at 733-2001 to arrange for a replacement. Please tell them that our mailboxes are mandated to be a specific style and color. Refer to the mailbox information link below.
