These modules will be made available through the VTVLC LMS. The PD outcome will include a taxonomy of resources aligned to the NET-S standards (i.e. learning challenges, strategies, assessment models, game genres, creativity tools) as well as documentation of the year-long inquiry into integrating creativity and innovation into our schools). Final PD activity will be the design of a 3 day Teacher Game Institute that integrates best practices from what we learned throughout the year. The “new” 3 Day Institute will be designed and advertised by June 2011 to be offered in Summer 2011.
Students will be asked to document their process and final solution to the CSI Challenges using either Moodle or an e-portfolio tool (i.e. Wikis, Google Sites, etc) that is linked to the CSI Challenge via Moodle.
The artifacts created by students to meet the CSI Challenges will also be used for development and calibration of Assessment Models that can be used to address Creativity and Innovation Standards.
