Challenge 1 has been created in 2 versions
1) Online Module hosted at VTVLC using the Moodle LMS
2) Lesson plan for teachers who prefer to lead the instructional components themselves
They are available under the CSI Online and THE Challenges Page.
Both are in draft form and being revised based on feedback.
Having both formats available will lead to a variety of hybrid experiences.
Due to the time constraints the online components were not ready PRIOR to the Tech Jam (Oct 15), so we were not able to test the online components.
2 schools participated
Swanton MIddle School had over 20 students participate as a whole class experience lead by their 6th grade teacher. (Ms. Sullivan)
St. Albans City School had over 20 students participate as an enrichment activity where a handfull of students from 4 sixth grade classes met for a half hour a day to work on the Challenge.
NECAP and School Vacation followed the Tech Jam so the flow was interrupted and students are currently finishing their challenge participation in the best way they can.
