Silent Journey: Soaking up those negative emotions-day 3

Post date: Mar 04, 2013 1:40:24 PM

1) First, close your eyes and take 10 deep breaths (one deep inhale through your nose and one long exhale through your mouth for each breath) Once you feel calm, imagine that you are holding a softball-sized sponge. 2) Call up any negative emotions that you'd like to eliminate, or at least minimize. Now picture (with your eyes still closed) these emotions channeling themselves through your mind, down your arms, into your fingers and then directly into the sponge. 3) Imagine that sponge sucking up all the negative emotions; it's heavy with the weight of negativity, but then... 4) Ring out the sponge and imagine all the negative emotions washing away. This may help you picture what it will feel like to meditate. Now, find a comfortable position that works for you, put on your headphones and continue your deep breathing throughout the guided meditation below... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>Access today's guided meditation here. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> And stay tuned for Day Four's helpful tips tomorrow!
