You will be analyzing the written accounts of Ibn Battuta's experiences (translated into English) when he crossed the Sahara desert in order to write a travel guide for others making the journey.  Then, you will create a brochure intended for an audience of a medieval trader who will participate in his/her first trans-Saharan journey.  Your guide will explain:Reasons for crossing the Sahara

Pretend you are trying to sell the services of a guide for hire.  Your guide should be both an ad and informative.
