The Sons of Veterans Reserve is the uniformed branch of the SUVCW. 7th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry reflects Col. Francine’s command. The SVR participates in Memorial Day ceremonies, parades, living history programs and the annual Remembrance Day Parade in Gettysburg. To be a member of the SVR, you must be a member of the SUVCW

Headgear:
Model 1858 Hardee (Dress) Hat, right side folded up with Hardee Eagle Hat device, Enlisted hat Cord (Blue) 185Infantry Enlisted Hat Insignia (Horn) and Regimental Number 7.
Shirt:
Natural Muslim Shirt
Uniform:
Federal Enlisted Frock Coat Infantry, Blue trim.
Pants:
Sky blue
Leather gear: Cartridge Box with sling, waist belt with US or SVR belt buckle, cap pouch, bayonet with scabbard.
Shoes:
Brogans
Musket:
Three band Enfield or Springfield musket.
Accessories:
White parade gloves, SVR Medal, Smooth side canteen with dark blue cover
