The Polyandrium Project

The Polyandrium Project is a joint venture with the Louis R. Francine Camp #7, Sons of Union Veterans, Dept. of NJ. Frank Tomasello, a fellow SUV brother, has created an intiative and has partnered with the SUV. His Polyandrium project has given our local camp an opportunity to contribute to our Veterans. Our common goal is to help preserve the memory of the Soldiers & Sailors who answered the call to arms for the Union at a time of our nations greatest peril, The US Civil War.

Frank Tomasello and his Polyandrium Project has created a frame-work of instructions to clean headstones without damaging them. We do not use bleach, pressure-washers, or solvents. We use water and soft bistle brushes followed by an application of a bio-organism that slowly and safely eats away at the growth on the headstone. The result is a display of stunning legiblitiy for these 100+ year old Grave stones.

Together, we clean the tombstones of those needing cleaning, and to document the lives of those Soldiers & Sailors to the extent possible.
