Midway has provided us with some critical site drawings. These include:
- DWG file of Phase 1 site plan. This drawing is a 2D representation of the site as designed, inlcuding building footprints, streets, sidewalks and other features. It also shows underground utilties. Insert this as an underlay in Revit to trace the site improvements and make a toposurface object. Use conceptual mass objects to represent the buildings.
- Phase 1 and 2 plat. This drawing provides the property boundaries, north arrow, and other surveyor information for the overall site that includes both phases. Use the data on this drawing to plot the site property line in Revit. Also, set the North arrow correctly and add Revit survey points and project points.
- Phase 1 plat. This more detailed plat of Phase 1 is useful for establishing the property lines in Revit.
- Phase 1 master plan. This drawing depicts the site plan as a conceptual design, designating the buildings and open area in a clear way. It is less useful than the DWG file, but may still be of use in preparing our analysis and marketing material.
This is the material that our Site team needs to complete the digital site model.
