On Monday 25 January, 2016 – 8.45am to 2.00pm we met at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center, Bush Presidential Library, College
Station, Texas for a symposium led by Midway Companies (http://midwaycompanies.com/). Their team, led by Jonathan Brindsden (BED, BS CS, MSLD TAMU) described their company culture, company mission, and strategy. He and his team explained the Century Square Phase 1 project.
Professor Geoffrey Booth stated, "The “Century Square” project will bring an integrated mixed use project to our lives that will create patterns of repeat visitation and enjoyment from a real estate asset that we have never before experienced in Bryan/College Station. It will enrich us all and further enhance the reputation of our unique AGGIE campus. In this conference we will hear from MIDWAY CEO and Alumni of our college, Jonathan BRINSDEN, on how he, and his interdisciplinary development team are translating their vision into a premium real asset of enduring value. It’s both an art and a science."
An added bonus was to witness Dean Jorge Vanegas and Distinguished Alumnus Harold Adams present Professor Geoffrey Booth with the 2015-2016 J. Thomas Regan Interdisciplinary Faculty Award.
