Home to the great underground city of the Damis Empire. Mt. Shi is famous for its grand tournaments and ambitious people. Everyone around the world comes to Shi to witness the great battles held in the worlds largest arena in Chiyo. Located North west of the Capital is one giant mountain with only one Sub Village Called Elic. Most of the nations taxes are made from the events of at the Arena which happen on a weekly bases. Besides the Arena Shi is also known for its harsh winter atmosphere that seems to stay year round due to its altitude. For this fact traveling to the top is nearly impossible by modern airship meaning the only way is by foot on the long trails up the mountian to reach the capital entrance.

Life in Mt. Shi

Most of the locals in Shi are hard working individuals that have learned to live off the land. Mining and Smithing are the two main sources of income for most who stay in Shi. Nearly everyone On Shi loves to watch the Arena games and have made it part of their weekly activities to do so. Most people dream about winning in the games an becoming rich and famous. Even though things seem great out the outside, and the arena and other events are amazing. Shi is full of business minded people looking to step on anyone they can to get to the top.

A group of very wealth men that personally buy the fighters of the tournaments as a sponsor for their cause. Promising riches an fame in Shi if they do their bidding. Whatever it may be.

Major Settlements

Sanshi

A place where might and magic also pair with Technology for Glory an honor in the Arena held in Sanshi. The Mountain empire has two layers to it that hold a large amount of people in both. One being the Proper District and the other being the Under Slums, both play a really big part in what Sanshi stands for. The Proper District is where all the events happen inside Sanshi, Even the great Colosseum where the tournaments are held is rested right in the middle of the district. Along with many shops that provide a wide variety of things such as food and drinks to swords and shields. A number of great taverns and manors also rest in the Proper district. The Under Slums is a completely different world and the only way to reach it is the large 400 step staircase that goes down into the district. Filled with small houses and tiny shops most people that live down here are the ones that have come here to watch the games or make a decent living. The climate in the Under district is noticeably hotter, some say that its due to active volcano underneath the City.

Elic

is a small village rested in the mountain's serving as a resting point for travelers and warriors alike that are making their way to Sanshi. Not much seems to happen in Elic due to its small population. This small village holds a few shops and one taverns that travels may rent a room at to escape the cold!

Wild Areas

The Trails- Beacons have been magically lit so that travels could stay on track and no fall off drift to far from the trail. A beacon has been places every half a mile as the trail winds up the mountain side. Heavy Blizzards could become a hazard if the traveling group is ill prepared for the trip up Mt. Shi. Besides the Blizzards few creatures still call Mt Shi their home and if travelers wander to far from the beacons may become victim to unspeakable things.
