Known as the rightful owners of the land that Izmir once stood upon the Natives where kicked out and forced to work in the fields on the outskirts of Izmir. The true name of their people has been forgotten to all but the wisest and long-lived individuals. However, the Natives themselves all know of their heritage and speak often in their native tongue to remember the ways of tradition. The Natives had to learn how to protect themselves from the Beasts that would attack due the high noise levels of the city itself. The Natives are always run by 4 elders who meet under one tent to discuss the future. Each elder is the Patriarch of one of the 4 great tribes; each steeped in their own mysticism and culture that combines to create an even greater whole. Natives are seen as peaceful, show loyalty to those who show loyalty back, revere nature and grow interdependent of each other. Even in the hardest of times Natives believe that they can overcome anything with the help of the Gods. Natives are known to be very religious and work the lands with maximum effort; praying to the Gods for their daily bread and a good harvest.
The Current Elders are Shimo of the Riverrun, Lindo of the Maa’he, Adobo of the Aka’roh and Gindo of the Wihahanassa.
Natives are extremely loyal to their own and will never betray one another. Each of the 4 tribes works to help better the others and to keep the old traditions of their ancestors alive. These traditions include various celebrations, shamanistic rituals and social gatherings. They mark the important changes in the seasons, reverence of the gods and important ancestors, days of the animal spirits as well as important dates in history.
Current, 250 natives survived the war on Izmir and the subsequent beast attacks. They now live on the Estate helping the New Dawn as the bulk of their work force and new training recruits. As friends of the Natives, the New Dawn has gained loyal allies with strengths all of their own. It is a common goal amongst every Native; to see that King Oliver is overthrown so they can reclaim the lands that once belonged to them. Every Native wishes to return home and to this day, they will not forget their promise made to the New Dawn, n’or will they forget the promise the New Dawn made to them.
