Damis Empire

The lands of the Damis Empire vary between sprawling plains, frozen tundras, and grand forests. Ruled over by King Radavern the Sixteenth, the Damis Empire is arguably the most militaristic nation on Chiyo. Having a long-standing rivalry with their neighbor, Alexius, the Damis Empire has often been accused of paying bandits and other criminals large sums of gold to work in the lands of Alexius in order to disrupt their growth as a nation. Within the lands of the Damis Empire is the Chapter of Scientology, a part of the Religious Sanction that spans all of Chiyo.

Nearly all crime has been eliminated within their lands and those that do commit crimes are executed. How they’ve been able to maintain such a peaceful existence is widely unknown, though it is believed to be a side-effect of their policy to have every citizen serve at least 20 years in the military and then another 5 years as a guard.
