In the Name of God Amen
I, Ann Hudson of Wigton in the County of Cumberland widow do make public and forbare this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say I order and trust my executor and executrix hereinafter named to pay off and discharge all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses out of my personal estate and effects. I devise and bequeath unto my grandson Charles Donaldson the sum of twenty pounds to be paid him by my executor and executrix in two months next after my demise all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects wheresoever and whatsoever or of what nature kind or quality I give and bequeath equally to and amongst my grandchildren Thomas Donaldson, Robert Donaldson, Charles Donaldson, John Donaldson and Henry Donaldson sons of Alexander Donaldson late of Wigton aforesaid Brewer and my little friend Marcus Dobson share and share alike and I do hereby revoke all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made and so believe this about to be my only true last will and testament and lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son Thomas Hudson of Mark Street London Merchant and my daughter Elizabeth Donaldson joint Executor and Executrix of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five Ann Hudson Signed sealed published and bestowed by the said testatrix Ann Hudson as witness for her last will and testament in the presence of us in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribing our names as witnesses hereunto John Robinson John Lightfoot
Proved at London 2nd June 1831 before the worshipful Judge XXXXXX of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Thomas Hudson Esqr the son one of the executors to whom executor was granted having been first sworn duty to executive powers issued of making the life grant to Elizabeth Donaldson widow the other executor.
