A bare eleven at kick off until young Basil parachuted in from Madagascar at half time! Injuries a plenty but a poor show from the No-show lads.

Another first half strike from the skipper put us into a deserved lead. We knocked the ball around well and marshaled the oppositions attack and never looked in any danger of defeat.

In the second half Adam Stuart stroked the ball into the corner of the goal from the edge of the area to put us further into the lead and it was game over. That was until the 'Turned over a new leaf' Matt Tighe had ANOTHER rush of blood - decided to make a game of it 5 minutes from the end when he chopped someone in two in our area.

Reece Bailey had an impressive debut and shared Man of the Match with Steve Heaton who once again gave 120% and sent shivers up my spine with his lunging tackles!
