We conceded 2 sloppy early goals and never really recovered fully. Dean McGregor fired home from the edge of the box and we went into the interval at 2-1.

After the break Bredbury went 3-1 up and from then on we were chasing the game. Ben Connelly gave us hope and in the last ten minutes we went close on a couple of occasions.

Although we played some nice football in patches, we never looked quite as authoritative as Bredbury. Adam Stuart was unusually given a game by 'Tiger' in the midfield and the lively forward line always looked threatening.

Man of the Match was officially Kev Mallen who won plenty in the air and looked comfortable on the ground. Adam Wortington came a close second and took the accolades back at the pub.
